It's a Beautiful Life I Live

In the car the other day I heard this song by The Afters.  I love it. . . so true from the first line- "I tend to be busier than I should be and I tend to think that time is gonna wait for me." to the last "You're the reason for every good thing"

It's our family, it's our friends
It's the feeling that I get when I see my children smile

I am so blessed.  There are so many people and activities that God has given me a passion for.


I have good parents that are still married and who support me and love me well.


I have a beautiful home and a garden that I love taking care of.

I have beautiful friends who lovingly encourage me in knowing the Lord more and who I respect and admire and love.  They are such an answer to prayer.

And they are blessed with beautiful little ones who are a blessing to everyone they meet!






I work at a job I love with people who are awesome and are friends, not just coworkers. They've introduced me to lake swimming and road biking and actually enjoying working out.  They've taken me camping and made me part of their families.

 

We are blessed to be a blessing. 

In Genesis 12:1-3  The Lord said to Abram,

"Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.  I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

God didn't bless Abram just so that Abram could keep it for himself and be really happy and famous.  Abram was blessed so that others could see God's work in his life and glorify God because of it.
