The Facts and Requests

So I leave this coming Friday for Nairobi, Kenya.  I don't know anyone else going except for Joey and Anissa Haywood and their kids who've I've met briefly.  I fly out of Chicago in the afternoon to Amsterdam.  That's around an 8 hour flight.  I have a 4 hour layover and then another over 8 hour flight.  There is a 7 hour time difference between here and Nairobi.  There are 23 people serving on this trip.
Things I'm praying for:

1.  For health and safety.  I know how distracting it is to be sick on a trip.  Blah.  I do not want this to happen.  I pray for God's protection over my health and wisdom in the decisions I make.

2.  For team unity.  I was super blessed last fall to go on a trip with 2nd Mile Missions and we had the most wonderful team.  I'm praying for the same unity on this trip and for great friendships to form quickly among team members.

3.  I'm praying for God's love to fill my heart for the children I interact with, that I can be his hands and feet in ministering to them in love- especially to Luche.

4.  That God would guide me in his vision and purpose for being there and help me see Him at work.

5.  That He would make me flexible and adaptable when needed.
